JYC Academy is an internationally accredited Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Training Center, welcoming both members and non-members aged 7+ to experience the thrill of sailing and racing on the Red Sea.
Located in a state-of-the-art clubhouse at the edge of JYC Marina, the JYC Academy boasts a full fleet of modern training vessels, ready for you to enjoy the Red Sea. Led by an expert team of international sailing coaches, JYC Academy delivers a dynamic programme of courses for all skill levels and ages, from dinghy and keelboat sailing to powerboating and watersports.
Endorsed by the Ministry of Sport and the Saudi Sailing Federation, JYC Academy is dedicated to growing watersports in the Kingdom and inspiring a new generation of sailors. More than just a training center, it’s a vibrant hub for sport and leisure, bringing together a community to discover, learn and fall in love with the sea.

Whether you are a seasoned sailor or just preparing to dip your toes in for the first time, the JYC Academy has a wide range of offerings including personal coaching, group sessions, camps, social racing and family sessions to build confidence, skills, and independence on the water. You don’t have to be a JYC Academy member to book, however, if you do join then your membership will be all inclusive of all the JYC Academy’s activities including the RYA sailing courses.
